Who is Fumina?

Hi guys!
I know it’s sudden, but I wanna introduce myself here.

My name is Fumina, I’m originally from Japan, and 27 yo now.
I used to work as a babysitter for a while in the US.

I just came here 3 months ago, and I’m so excited to learn every new thing! I LOVE to meet new things anyway, so I’ve tried to go to travel all around the world as much I can possible. I’m a nature person as well, so I would say Vancouver is a town for me. haha

I LOVE summer and enjoy jumping into a river, sitting around a beach, but not really into winter sports, so I’m kinda scared about the winter season here, but I hope I could have fun and get over it with any of you guys!

I graduated from the sociology field, and I've started to work as a production manager at a movie company as my first career.
And then I’ve changed jobs to an advertising company as an account planner.

It was one of my dreams since I was a child that I live in another country, so I’ve decided to let go of my career and chose my dream which I go to the US.I think covid is really a life changer for all of us in either way of good or not, but at the same time, I’ve got a lot of time because of them, so I could focus on thinking about my life more than before.
And then, I’ve realized my life goal is to travel the world and ending up publishing my own picture book.

— What should I do for doing that?

I need a job to earn money which I could work anywhere.
At the same time, I’ve got been interested in learning English because I wanna talk to everybody I met in the world, and I would say English is the easiest tool for communication in the world.
I’ve started to study programming anyway during the lockdown for the reason, and I like it!
After a while, I went back to my country to work as a web director and front engineer for 10 months, so that means I have a little tiny experience for web development, but I would say I HAVE TO learn more and more in the class.

And now, I’m just right here to study at CICCC in Canada with good classmates.

I’d like to make sure my goal as a web developer in Vancouver is again here.

• Get a job as React Engineer
  - Get a volunteer job during studying
  - Get a connection with trying to join several events or community
  - Make my own project with collaboration in the class
  - Never give up until I would achieve my goal — with you guys!

I’m kinda beer freak, so I’ve always been trying any brewery.
